Her most famous watering hole, “Diddlin' Dora's,” advertised itself as “Three D's–Dining, Drinking, and Dancing–a place where you can bring your mother”. Whether or not mothers were really welcome at Dora's place, her reputation as a madam with a heart of gold won her the hearts of cowpokes all through the Dakota Territory.
